Kaoru joined the firm in February 2010, focussing on research for the asset management and insurance sectors. Previously, she worked in Singapore for a global executive search firm, covering risk management across the Asia-Pacific region. Prior to this, she was based in Hong Kong, working for a boutique search firm, specialising in asset and wealth management. Kaoru is Japanese, born and raised in Hong Kong and tertiary educated in the United Kingdom. She speaks conversational Japanese.
