Mark Tomlinson is a director at Kinsey Allen and has global responsibility for Energy, Commodities & Environmental markets. Mark’s experience in executive search covers the full energy & commodities complex with a particular focus on the Carbon, Physical Oil & Gas, Power and Coal & Freight. Mark was responsible for some of the pioneer placements in these arenas and has successfully assisted top tier investment banks, utilities, producers and trading houses in making senior commercial hires across the energy complex. Prior to joining the firm, Mark spent a decade working for niche energy & commodity recruitment companies, where he was primarily responsible the management of execution of all retained front office & physical operations mandates across both physical and financial markets on a global basis. Preceding his career in executive search Mark spent five years in various asset management positions focusing on ethical fund management. Mark has a BSc in Sociology and an MSc in Criminology and Criminal Psychology and benefits from successfully completing both his Investment Management Certificate and FSA registered representative exams
